Harley Davidson Dyna / FXR
Harley Davidson was named after its founders, William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson. They started toying with engine production for motorcycles since 1903 but it was only in 1905 that they started production for commercial purposes. The company was formally established September in 1907. Since its institution, the company never looked back in becoming one of the most recognized companies in the world of transportation. Harley Davidson’s role in US history especially in two World Wars through their motorcycles has been significant. The company’s headquarters is currently in Milwaukee which is also the site of their first factory.The Dyna/FXR model series of Harley Davidson could be considered as one of the company’s biggest bikes. The body has a traditional Harley Davidson design featuring massive twin engines for more power. This type of motorcycle is often associated with softail series of Harley Davidson but there is a considerable difference in terms of body design. Dyna/FXR is considerably larger since the coil is located outside and covers the suspension of the motorcycle. The inclusion of the reservoir for engine oil in the transmission is also its differentiating factor. Dyna currently has six designs: Low Rider, Wide Glide, Street Bob, Super Glide, Super Glide Custom and Fat Bob which was only introduced in 2008.
