Harley Davidson Shovelhead
No brand of motorcycle could match the popularity and probably the quality of
Harley Davidson. For more than 100 years, the company has been manufacturing

formal establishment in 1907, Harley Davidson continues to impress the riders
because of their powerful engines with equally stunning designs. The motorcycles
were not only used for civilian purposes as some of the models of Harley
Davidson are now used by police in different countries. Historically, Harley
Davidson provided motorcycles for the military for both World Wars.
The Harley Davidson shovelhead refers to the top shape of the engine in some Harley Davidson motorcycles. The shovelhead is one of the bigger models for V-twin engines of Harley Davidson. It was first released in 1966 and production continued until 1984. This type of engine was eventually replaced with the Evo design because the components and practices in this type of engine are already impractical because of the presence of more efficient engines. Today, it is regarded as a collector’s item and often sought after by Harley Davidson enthusiasts. The smallest version of Harley Davidson shovelheads comes in 1,200cc and even more powerful (1,300cc) in the late 70s.
